Margaret Wins Best in Show Awards at ADS
National Show!
Porland Oregon 2012
This is Margaret's Best in Show
arrangement. The theme was
using two containers. Margaret used
Hollyhill Court Jester(lower left and far
right), AC Fancy(the three medium
sized flowers) and an unreleased
seedling(the miniature bicolor)  that will
be called Hollyhill Santa Baby,.

FESTIVAL” – Incorporating a
musical instrument. Margaret used
very bright flowers surrounding our
son John's bass guitar. He played
bass for several jazz bands over the
years.  The flowers are Hollyhill Art
W. , Show N Tell, Greendor, and a
red FD seedling.

Theme was “CRATER LAKE” – A
design showing water. Margaret used
our intense pink waterlily seedling.  A
small twig of a fuschia was placed on
the bottom right .

Margaret entered a mixed
basket and won best basket in
show. Flowers are Hollyhill
Donatello B SC OR, Hollyhill
Black Beauty BB ID DK RD,
and Lakeview Glow BB IC Y.
Donatello is the flower
featured on our index page
and it has very bright flowers
that get even brighter after
you pick them. It grows six feet
tall and the flowers have
excellent stems. It will be
released in 2014.

Margaret won Best Arrangement in
Show and Best Basket in Show.  This
is the second time she won both
categories at a National show.

The design category was “EAGLE CAP
WILDERNESS” – A design using
weathered wood. Margaret chose
Hollyhill Flamingo to go with her very
tall weathered wood.

The theme was: “MT HOOD” – A
vertical design using white dahlias.
Flowers are: R Kris, Clearview Tammy  
and Hollyhill Diamond.
The theme was “OREGON BEACHES”
– Designer’s Choice design. Margaret
used Hollyhill Shaggy Dog, Hollyhill
Spiderwoman and Hollyhill Tempest.
The theme was “OREGON ZOO” – A
transparency design incorporating
an artificial zoo animal. The intention
was that all you would see was the
eyes looking at you from behind the
foliage. The zoo animal was a gorilla.  
Flowers are Hollyhill Black Beauty and
Hollyhill Tempest.
