We are finally introducing this giant flower that we have grown privately for many years. I

New 2021: Named after the famous British gardener and engineer who designed the Crystal
Palace used for the Great Exposition of 1851. He was the world premier expert on dahlias
and wrote one of the first dahlia books(A Practical Treatise on the Culture of the Dahlias) in
1838. This flower is a very bright smokey pink and it has very nice form and exceptional color
on easy to grow plants. It also makes nice tubers 4-5 feet tall. Note: there were no incurved
cactus dahlias during his lifetime and he would probably be amazed that this form was
developed.

New 2021: Superb white flower cut flower that is easy to grow. 6 foot tall vigorous plants,
that have 5-6 inch bright white flowers on long stiff stems. There is no pink
or lavender blush on the flowers.
Margaret featured just this flower in her best in show arrangement
at the Lane County show. This will be an excellent wedding flower
and good white flowers are very difficult to find. Good tuber maker too.
