Ted in the seedling patch.
Here are some pictures of 2008 and 2007 seedlings that we have kept. Some of the 2007
seedlings will go to the trial gardens this coming year.  There are many more seedlings that
do not have nice pictures that we are keeping.

Seedlings 2008 and Prior
This MB Flame won best triple MB at
the Grays Harbor show.
This 2008 seedling did well again in
2009 and will be "A" sized. It produced
lots of seeds and we are looking
forward to seeing some of it's
seedlings. Hand crossed.
MB In red that we are keeping
another year. Hand crossed.
This stellar did well again in 2009. It is
the result of a hand cross.
This one is a seedling of Ms. Kennedy
and we may call it "Calico". Very
interesting flowers in that are no two
alike.
Margaret really likes this one for it's
very fine cactus petals. It is probably
only "A" sized but looks bigger in the
picture.
This BB C R surprised us as it did not
look this good in it's first year.
Margaret has been looking
for a very dark, dark  red
for arrangements and this
seedling of Bewitched may
be the one.
Ted really likes this very small
miniature formal decorative in bright
red. It is two inches or so in diameter
and has lots of blooms on 3.5 foot tall
bushes. Nothing like it out there.
Margaret used it in her arrangement
called "Strawberry Fields Forever"
and it was the strawberries.

to see it.
This BB C DP looked great in 2009
Our variegated seedling of Pam
Howden continued to do well at shows.
This variegated seedling did not do
real well in 2008 but did great in 2009.
We are going to grow  it again and see
how it does in 2010.
This B SC OR did really well in 2009.
Visitors to the gardens were really
attracted to the bushes and walked a
long way to see it up close. Grew 6 feet
tall and flowers were well above the
bush. Should have taken a picture of the
bushes.
This BB C Yellow did really well in
2009. Seedling of Rycroft Zoe done by
a bee. Got nice score in seedling class
at show.
This yellow ball
looked pretty
good in 2009.
Hand cross of a
M FD and one
of our 2007
seedlings M FD
DR.
This 2006 seedling
continues to look nice. It is
a dark red ball. Seedling of
a top winning M FD R and
was crossed with
something similar. Records
only show that it was a
hand cross.
Gordon Jackman wants this one for
arrangements. BB ID V W/R. Not too
many flowers out there that have just a
few red spots  on a white background.
