Hollyhill Magenta

New for 2010. Magenta is a garden and cut flower that has the brightest
"magenta" color I have ever seen. Magenta color is between red and purple and
has a bit more blue in it than "red" dahlias. Our Magenta is an excellent cut flower
because it has no pollen center and therefore holds in a bouquet much longer
than typical dahlias. Very popular with garden visitors and initially was named
"Grandma" on our stakes this year. Your Grandma would have loved this flower but
"magenta" is a more descriptive name. Grows to 4 feet tall. Pictures do not do it
justice. For some reason, cameras do not register the difference between this
magenta and red. It is obvious when you see the flowers in person.
