| New for 2011. Tangerine won the Derrill Hart medal for the best BB entry in the trial gardens. It passed in all seven trial gardens. It is a very bright orange flower that does not fade in the sun with excellent stems. The plants grow very vigorously and can reach 6 feet or taller and believe it or not do not need to be staked even at 6 feet. The bright orange color makes it a bit difficult to photograph. It has won best "BB" in show. Tangerine makes fewer tubers than some varieties but they store very well. |
